We had a complex and very time-sensitive issue that involved old pipes and materials, and a leak into the apartment below that was 2 days from being sold. Rather than doing the "easy" thing - which would have cost thousands more - he spent time finding materials that are difficult to come by in 2020, and schlepping around to get those materials. He was also able to access previous generational plumbing knowledge of over 40+ years, given the age of the pipes with which we were working.
